Ian and Sarah welcome you to Rosegarth. We are located in the Lake District National Park on the west coast of Cumbria. Ravenglass is the only coastal village in the national park , which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient village dates back to the second century and is built on the site of Glannaventa, a Roman fort and port.
We have seven en-suite letting bedrooms, and all our rates include a full and hearty breakfast to set you up for the day's activities. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free choices always available.
For those travelling by train we are just 2 minutes walk from the Cumbrian Coast mainline. Once here you can use the La'al Ratty narrow guage steam railway to take you right into the heart of Eskdale, or you can take a leisurely stroll to visit Muncaster Castle.
All but one of our rooms directly overlook the beautiful tidal estuary, where the Rivers Esk, Irt and Mite all converge and make their way out to sea. The tide comes and goes every day and creates and ever changing vista for our guests to enjoy while engaging in the local pastime of watching the sun go down. Why not visit us in this often overlooked corner of The Lakes and see for yourself. Call or book direct with us for the best prices.
